What items are needed?

• Quality clothing- for men, women and children (summer and winter and winter coats)
• Shoes - in good usable condition for all ages
• Kitchen - dishes, pots, pans, silverware etc., kitchen tables and (chairs good condition)
• Furnishings – Sofa’s, chairs, beds w/frames, mattresses etc (good usable condition)
• Carpets - and area rugs, Clean usable
• Appliances - Refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, all in good working order
• Other furnishings - items like lamps, lights
• Baby items - all types of items for babies and infants

We need your help in getting these items shipped to Kentucky. Our shipping costs now run over $1500 per truck, we generally ship at least two 53 foot trucks per year. Without your donations we have no way to get the items to Kentucky. We are a volunteer organization run entirely by volunteers (no paid staff) so all of your donation goes to get items shipped and support projects in Kentucky and the Friendship Center.

Suggested donation for items dropped at warehouse

• $3 per bag of clothing
• $5 per box
• $15 for furniture, beds, appliances
